ABOUT US
Amtgard is a world-wide organization dedicated to medieval and fantasy combat sports and recreation. We use padded weapons, fantasy and authentic clothing, and imagination to immerse players in a world of heroic combat, quests, crafts, and more.
No matter if your interest is competitive sports fighting, finding an outlet for your creative talents, or honing your leadership skills, Amtgard has something to offer you!

Park Story
Many years ago, a powerful Wizard prepared a meeting with a powerful Demon. He promised the Demon that he could have the Kingdom all to himself if he were to give the Wizard a vial of his blood for the sake of immortality. The Demon agreed to the pact and put a curse on the Wizard that he shall not die and shall experience extreme torment until the Kingdom was handed over to the Demon.
A portal was opened and many demons flooded into the lands. The armies of the King battled the demons and pushed them back. It was then that the Order of the Bladed Vigil was created. A group of Crusaders tasked with guarding the locked vault in which the portal was placed. Watching to ensure that the Kingdom was safe from Demonic threat.
But as the years past, the Wizard has finally begun reappearing and has damaged the vault that holds the portal, allowing demons to come back through into the lands. The small outpost of Shifting Sands, now thought only to be a trading hub, is the first line of defense against the Demonic onslaught.
That is now our task. To defend the kings land from attack. Mercenary, Merchant, and Crusader must all band together in the name of the Crown to ensure the threat does not spread.
